David Sulan has a broad-ranging commercial practice.
His areas of speciality include conflict of laws, corporations, banking and finance, insolvency, class actions, equity, fraud, professional negligence, trusts, and property law. He has a wide ranging class actions practice appearing for plaintiffs (most recently for RAMS franchisees against Westpac); respondents (for example, Uber against taxi licence plate holders); and funders (most recently in the Stolen Wages class actions).
David regularly appears in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and in the Federal Court of Australia. He has also appeared at a number of Royal Commissions and Inquiries and conducts mediations.
