Current and recent cases include the Grenfell Tower fire (where David leads the team handling recovery claims for RBKC), the FCA’s Business Interruption Test Case, in which David led a team of counsel from 4 New Square for RSA; a substantial dispute in the TCC about a municipal waste plant procured and operated under a PFI contract; an international arbitration about the management of a luxury hotel in the UAE, and sitting as an arbitrator in international arbitrations arising out of a quota share reinsurance treaty between a GCC-based cedant and its reinsurer and a substantial D&O coverage claim brought by the ex-CEO of a large GCC telecoms company.
