David Wells is a Senior Criminal Law Solicitor with over 25 years experience defending the interests of individuals, companies and businesses. His clients have included government officials, diplomats, doctors , nurses, serving police officers , accountants and company directors, and he has advised and defended in some of the UK's most high profile criminal trials. David represents clients at every stage of the criminal process, from point of arrest, formal interview, all the way through to trial and beyond, including ongoing advice concerning reputation management and pre-charge engagement. He has represented families at inquests and individuals , looking to obtain justice through the appellate and higher courts. David has reviewed hundreds of criminal convictions and has presented many cases to the Criminal Cases Review Commission, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. His cases range from the trivial, all the way to the most serious and extreme. David has advised in cases involving all the major prosecution and regulatory authorities including the CPS, Trading Standards, Serious Fraud Office, HMRC. He has also represented clients in over 25 Murder trials, assisted numerous health care professionals under suspicion for a variety of criminal and regulatory matters, including allegations of NHS Fraud and gross negligence manslaughter. He has also advised and assisted company directors and accountants with regard to domestic and international affairs, and is also on the list of preferred lawyers at the nursing and midwifery council. David is also one of the legal advisors to Inside Time, the countries leading prison law newspaper.
