Ms. King represents energy industry clients in regulatory compliance, hearings, disputes and litigation matters, including matters related to competition, market behavior and market design, enforcement and compliance, transmission access, and greenhouse gas regulatory requirements and commercial arrangements, and in addition advises clients on legal, regulatory and commercial issues related to foreign participation in US-regulated energy markets.
She counsels energy sector clients on regulatory and compliance matters and represents them in enforcement, administrative and litigation proceedings, with a focus on organized and bilateral energy markets in the West, contract negotiation and dispute resolution, and compliance with market rules.
Ms. King advises clients participating in federal and state agency rulemaking and policy proceedings involving competition, pricing and access to wholesale electricity and transmission markets, reliability and resource adequacy, and greenhouse gas policy. She leads clients in connection with government investigations, contested FERC proceedings and litigation involving federally-regulated electricity and transmission markets. Ms. King appears on behalf of energy-sector clients in proceedings before FERC and other federal and state agencies, in federal and state courts, and in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
