Mrs. Lavy-Fischer is a partner in FBC’s Banking and Finance practice, representing lenders and borrowers in domestic and international financing transactions, such as syndicated finance, acquisition finance, project finance, mezzanine loans, real estate finance, trade financing and complex secured debt transactions.
The practice is routinely top ranked by domestic and international ranking guides; in 2019, the practice was recognized as Banking & Finance Law Firm of the Year in Israel by Chambers and Partners.
Mrs. Lavy-Fischer counsels Israeli and foreign financial institutions with respect to financial regulation issues. She has depth knowledge and extensive experience in representing and advising various non-banking lenders in matters related to regulatory issues, such as the Supervision of Financial Services (Regulated Financial Services) Law, the Fair Credit Law and the Credit Data Law.
Mrs. Lavy-Fischer is an expert on the new (2019) Insolvency and Economic Rehabilitation Law and advises leading financial institutions in Israel in the adaptation process to the new law. She is a well-known lecturer about the new law and its implications on lenders and their extension of credit process, and is the author of a guiding booklet to the new law (see here).
Mrs. Lavy-Fischer is a member of the Israel Bar Association's Banking and Finance Committee.
Mrs. Lavy-Fischer is regularly recognized as a 'Leading Lawyer', 'Next Generation Partner' and 'Highly Regarded Attorney' by all the prestigious international ranking guides Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500 and IFLR1000.
During her studies, Mrs. Lavy-Fischer served as a member of the editorial board of the Tel Aviv University Law Review (Iyuney Mishpat), and as a teaching assistant to Dr. Issachar Rosen-Zvi.
