Career
Diogo Fries possesses extensive expertise in civil litigation and strategic legal challenges. He adeptly represents both national and international clients across various industries in corporate, civil, consumer, restructuring, and insolvency disputes, including bankruptcies and judicial reorganizations, at all levels of the judiciary.
In addition, he is proficient in managing highly complex public civil actions and arbitration proceedings, advocating for clients before both national and international arbitration tribunals.
Diogo has also gained international experience, having served as an international lawyer in the legal department of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank, in Washington, D.C., USA. During this tenure, his practice was concentrated on corporate restructuring (both judicial and extrajudicial), litigation across Latin America, international project financing, investments, and public-private partnerships.
His practice also extends to agribusiness-related issues, with a particular emphasis on disputes concerning land purchase and sale, as well as property transfer and regularization.
