Eduardo has outstanding experience handling sophisticated litigation cases and restructuring proceedings of companies in crisis concerning both Brazilian and international clients. His practice also focuses on succession and estate planning, seeking to minimise the impacts of succession on family wealth.
He is one of the founding partners of Galdino & Coelho, Pimenta, Takemi, Ayoub Advogados. Before joining the firm, Eduardo worked at Castro, Barros, Sobral e Gomes Advogados.
Education: Eduardo holds an LL.B. (1996), an LL.M. (2000), and a Ph.D. in Civil Law (2006) from Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro – UERJ.
Eduardo was a professor of graduate and undergraduate law courses at several renowned Universities, including Universidade Candido Mendes, Fundação Getulio Vargas, and Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro – UERJ. He was a board member of the Turnaround Management Association – TMA and General Coordinator of Revista dos Tribunais do Rio de Janeiro. He is the author of several articles and books.
