Mr. Ma's experience and passion is unique in his field. Starting with shipping law practice, a niche area known for its complexity and professionalism, he expertizes in all areas of admiralty and maritime law, both wet and dry. With LL.B. degrees in both Chinese law and English law, he has deep knowledge and understanding in the international legal regime for trade, shipping, insurance, financing and insolvency. In particular, Mr. Ma is recognised for his expertise in dealing with cross-border disputes and legal risks. Mr. Ma worked for ten years as in-house counsel and 20 years in private practice.
