Elisson Garé, is a partner at Garé IP, leading the firm's Litigation and Consultancy teams. He holds a Law degree from FMU and a specialisation in Technology and Innovation from FGV, as well as a Master of Law degree (LLM) in Information and Communication Technology Law from Oslo University, Norway. Currently, he is pursuing his Master's degree in Commercial Rights from Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC/SP), where he is continuing to expand his expertise in the realm of intellectual property law.
With an unique approach that combines creativity, perseverance, and pragmatism, his expertise spans the gamut of intellectual property law, including trademarks, patents, industrial designs, unfair competition, copyright, image rights, and trade secrets. He has a proven track record of providing effective consultancy and litigation services to clients, particularly in complex and high-stakes cases.
Since the introduction of the Brazilian Internet Bill of Rights, Elisson has emerged as a leading authority on digital law. He regularly lectures on topics such as privacy, data acquisition through legal means, and the liability of online providers for internet-related crimes, with a focus on image and industrial property rights in the virtual environment.
Elisson is a member of the Enforcement Committee of International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Brazilian Association of Information Technology and Communications Law (ABDTIC), he is also a frequent participant in national and international intellectual property conferences.
