Elliot represents Canadian and international private equity funds and market-leading companies in their most significant business transactions. His counsel on a broad range of complex matters, including mergers and acquisitions, licensing and financing is highly sought after by companies in various sectors including technology, life science and retail companies. His business and scientific education provide him with a unique perspective on corporate matters and enable him to quickly grasp and resolve his clients’ issues, including those related to intellectual property and information technology. At the firm, Elliot is a member of the Technology and Talent Management and Professional Development committees and coordinates the corporate practice at Davies’ Montréal office. He is a member in the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association, where he is active in the M&A and Private Equity subcommittees including his position as co-chair of the International Private Equity and Venture Capital Subcommittee.
