Career

After finishing law school, Mr. Arteaga joined VTZ in 2012. Ever since, he has been actively engaged in antidumping proceedings, administrative litigation, free trade agreements, trade & customs compliance, and general corporate and commercial matters.

In 2014, Mr. Arteaga studied for his LL.M. in Maastricht University, graduating with honors (Cum Laude).

Advising Hoa Sen Group in the Galvanized Steel from Vietnam Antidumping Investigation, and obtaining a specific dumping margin (2021-2023).

Representing an importer in Mexican courts and successfully challenging the constitutional ban on "vapes" or e-cigarettes.

Advising NLMK in the Steel Slab from Russia and Brazil Antidumping Investigation, where the Ministry terminated the investigation without duties (2020-2021).

Advising YLSS in the Stainless Steel from China and Taiwan Antidumping Investigation, and obtaining a low dumping duty (2019-2020).
