Emmanuel Moyne advises his clients, both legal entities and high-profile individuals, in complex procedures that may involve several foreign jurisdictions and may concern, among other issues, corruption, misuse of company assets, tax fraud, money laundering, misappropriation of data and secrets, counterfeiting, cybercrime, endangering life, manslaughter and unintentional injuries, pollution as well as common crimes, notably in the context of the Me Too movement.
His areas of expertise include the energy, defence, aerospace, transportation, chemicals, construction, automotive, hotels, luxury, sports and art as well as the banking industry sectors.
He advises clients in sensitive bribery matters and has contributed to the drafting of anti-corruption legislation in a foreign country. He directed several internal investigations and assists major companies in France and abroad in the conception and implementation of their internal procedures, compliance programmes and investigations. He also assists clients in performing compliance and anticorruption M&A due diligences and in structuring the compliance of acquired companies or joint ventures.
Emmanuel Moyne was a Secrétaire de la Conférence des Avocats of the Paris bar in 2000 and pleaded, this year, as a duty lawyer for around seventy clients before correctional and criminal courts (“Cour d’assises”).
Emmanuel is the co-author of various articles, on the impacts of the disparities of negotiated criminal justice in the EU on the rights of the defence or the liability of companies for complicity in crimes against humanity through the management of their foreign subsidiaries.
