Career
Enrique has been in private practice for more than 30 years. He specializes in complex intellectual property and unfair competition matters with an emphasis on patent and trademark enforcement, cross-border litigation, and legal proceedings before Spanish and European courts.
He has counselled and litigated on behalf of many clients, both Spanish based and global, in a wide range of industries, including fashion, sports, pharma, healthcare, entertainment, publishing, food, etc. Enrique’s team looks after the preparation and prosecution of challenges to the SPTO’s decisions on SPC’s matters before Spanish Courts. Enrique’s team is also responsible for setting up offensive and defensive strategies in the lead up to and at the annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
He teaches Patent Litigation at the Master Programme of University of Navarra (Madrid) since 2020 and Unfair Competition Law at the Master Programme of ICADE Law School (Madrid) since 2014.
