Practice Areas
Enrique Garza Tello has over 10 years of experience practicing law; his main areas of practice are Energy Law, Maritime Law and Environmental Law. He obtained his Law Degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an LLM in Energy and Natural Resources Law from Queen Mary University of London.
Career
While studying his LLM he worked for one year in the International Arbitration Department of the London Office assisting in several investment arbitrations.
He has provided assistance on day to day compliance and contract administration to several oil & gas operators , as well as provide day to day assistance on contractual, regulatory and compliance matters to drillers and FPSO Operators including the first Drillship to operate in Mexico.
Enrique has also provided advise in several hydrogen production and storage matters.
He has been involved in some landmark cases such as:
• Advising on the first pledge over a participating interest of an E&P contract.
• Providing regulatory advise to the first Drillship operator working in Mexico.
• Advising in a landmark case in which our client consulted the Government and laid the ground work for reforms to land use regulations, published by the Mexican Ministry of Energy
• Provide regulatory advice on several projects regarding operation of gas storage terminals and FPSOs.
