Epke Spijkerman, partner and lawyer at BUREN, specializes in employment and employee participation law aspects of (international) mergers and acquisitions, business transfers and reorganisations. He also has substantial knowledge of collective and individual dismissal proceedings. Epke has extensive experience in advising and litigating for national and international companies, including listed multinationals.
Epke graduated in Dutch law from Leiden University. He also successfully completed the specialization course Post-Academic Course Employment Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Epke regularly gives lectures, publishes in professional journals and teaches at various training institutes.
Epke is a member of the European Employment Lawyer Association, the Amsterdam Employment Lawyers Association, the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association, the Employment Law Association and the Association for Sport and Law.
