Erika is a member of the firm's International group and leads the firm’s Latin America practice and Litigation Finance group. She has extensive experience in high‑stakes international arbitrations and cross-border litigations, as well as enforcement and asset recovery.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Erika serves as an arbitrator in many of the leading forums. A significant segment of her practice is dedicated to arbitrating cases in the fashion, technology, and entertainment industries.
For every client, Erika believes in getting to the right result as quickly and cost-effectively as possible. She uses early and aggressive case assessment and creative problem solving to chart the most expeditious paths to the finish line by developing potential exit ramps and identifying and exploiting key leverage points.
Erika often serves as an outside general counsel, working closely with executives and company leadership to provide guidance that advances business goals. She is adept at identifying legal impediments and connecting a business with the smartest solutions. She also guides businesses in internal investigations and helps in crafting and implementing compliance programs.
Erika has developed an extensive network of international contacts and works closely with local counsel around the world. She frequently represents multinational corporations as well as entities that are expanding into other jurisdictions on legal and business matters. She has a passion for the intersection of law and business and works closely with clients in various sectors including fashion, beverage, entertainment, technology and health care.
