Erin is a global partner who advises on legal strategy and managing risks on major projects. Erin leads Freshfields’ Global Projects Disputes Practice. She spends a significant amount of time on the ground in South Korea.
Erin advises on all aspects of complex construction and infrastructure projects. Her most recent and relevant representations include several of the largest engineering and construction companies (that are part of the largest Korean conglomerates or chaebol), as well as other large Australian, Japanese and Chinese construction and heavy industry companies. More generally, Erin represents owners, developers, general contractors, engineering firms and various sub-trades on all aspects of their projects including tendering, procurement strategies and contract documentation for major infrastructure and construction. Erin also regularly advises on resolving engineering and construction-related disputes including representing clients before all major arbitral institutions and in cases involving contracts governed by all major systems of law.
