Career
With more than 25 years of experience, Eugenio heads the Firm’s Restructuring and Insolvency practice, spanning across different sectors and industries.
For their inherent complexity, insolvency cases require a combination of transactional, regulatory and litigation skills. Eugenio offers clients expert advice and seamless coordination of the Firm’s different practice areas involved in highly intricate restructuring and insolvency matters.
He has published several papers on the subject and lectured at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León’s Corporate Law graduate program. His research spans from general insolvency treatises to analysis on the treatment of derivative transactions in bankruptcy.
Eugenio is well regarded by clients for his outstanding service, and his pragmatic approach to problem solving.
He obtained his Law Degree from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico and a Master’s in Business Administration from Boston University.
Eugenio is recognized as a leading and expert lawyer by renowned international publications, such as Chambers Latin American Guide, in the Restructuring practice.
