Federico Lemos is a Senior Manager Associate at Dentons Jiménez de Aréchaga. He has more than a decade of experience in the Banking and Finance area. He is a specialist in banking regulation, capital markets, project financing and fintech. His practice also covers complex matters of commercial and corporate law in general and agribusiness transactions.
Throughout his professional career he has advised many of the world's most recognized financial institutions, multilateral banks, as well as multinational and local fintechs.
In the capital markets area, he advised in most of the local IPOs completed in the last years, either as structuring advisor or advising institutional investors, and even leading several of those transactions.
He also collaborated with the Central Bank of Uruguay in the redesign of all regulations applicable to financial institutions, insurance companies, pension funds and capital markets.
He has been recognized by prestigious international publications such as Chambers & Partners, Legal 500 and IFLR for his outstanding performance in Banking and Finance. He has served, for more than ten years, as a professor at several of the country´s most prestigious universities in the areas of banking and commercial law.
Federico Lemos graduated as lawyer from the University of Montevideo in 2012. In 2017 he obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at New York University School of Law.
