Career
Felipe Bascuñán, founding partner of the firm, leads the Natural Resources, Energy, Environment, Public and Regulatory Law areas. He specializes in these fields, focusing on energy regulation, large electricity consumers, including mining and industrial companies and renewable energy projects, critical contracts, project development and water rights. He has led several negotiations and closings of PPAs and contracts, as well as claims or defenses before authorities, courts or arbitrators. He has spoken at global seminars and is a professor of Energy and Electricity Law in postgraduate courses at Universidad Los Andes. Is recognized as one of the top Chilean lawyers in Energy and Natural Resources.
