Fernando is a partner of Deloitte Legal employment practice in Deloitte Legal in Spain.

Career

Fernando has been the partner in charge of Deloitte Legal's Labour and Employment practice since May 2014 until June 2021 that he was promoted as the firm´s Global Employment Law & Benefits leader. He is an expert in labor law specialized in restructuring, downsizing plans, and collective bargaining issues.

Before joining Deloitte he was a member been part of the Labour Department at Garrigues and CMS Albiñana, where he directed the Employment practice. He has also worked in the US office of Kavanagh Maloney & Osnato in New York.

He is recognized by Legal 500 as Highly Regarded, Chambers Europe (Employment) and he is also included in Best Lawyers

Publications

During the last years, he has written many articles, in which he analyzes the impact that COVID has had on the labour structure.
