Career
Geoffrey was called to the Bar in 2018 as a Bar Scholar and a Rhodes Scholar. He has a broad practice in civil and commercial litigation, with a particular interest in public law matters.
He has acted in a range of civil and commercial disputes, including in relation to shareholders’ disputes, financial markets, conflict of laws, international commercial arbitration, as well as land-related disputes and adverse possession claims. He has conducted civil and criminal trials (as led junior or as sole advocate) at various levels of courts and tribunals, and also acted as counsel in arbitration. He also has experience in advisory work in relation to regulatory investigations and compliance obligations, including in the contexts of securities, competition and anti-money laundering legislation.
He has particular experience in constitutional and administrative law, including high-profile constitutional litigation, equality and civil liberties, regulatory and licensing matters, commercial judicial review, as well as other cases involving public law issues.
