George Fowler focuses on litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution. He is an internationally recognized trial lawyer known for his successful record trying hundreds of cases to juries and judges, including numerous high-profile matters, complex litigation, and cases of national concern. Having been born in Havana, Cuba, Mr. Fowler, who is fluent in Spanish, has worked throughout his career in matters involving Spain and Latin America. He founded the Tulane Latin American Law Institute.
George has written and lectured extensively on private international law and world trade. He speaks frequently and has appeared regularly on national television. George became a refugee from Cuba in the US at the age of nine. For the past 30 years, he has been pro-bono Vice Chairman and General Counsel of the Cuban American National Foundation. He is also the founder and Chairman Emeritus of the New Orleans Hispanic Heritage Foundation, which provides scholarships to worthy Latin American students.
