Georgina is ranked for both employment law and telecommunications regulation. She also has a growing tax practice, as well as a wider civil litigation practice, including re director’s duties.

Georgina is also an experienced mediator, and has a developing practice doing Investigations for corporate clients.

She covers the full range of employment and industrial law, and offers a particularly unique insight on trade union related issues, having acted for both sides and at a particularly senior and strategic level for a major trade union, and been counsel on UKSC collective bargaining case of Kostal v Dunkley.

Her telecoms work ranges from wayleaves cases to challenges to regulatory decisions, and competition law compliance.

Career

Her pre-Bar experience as a solicitor working in industry, and then as Legal Director of Unite the Union, as well as in private practice, gives her a unique insight for her advice and advocacy work.

Georgina is a calm and confident advocate who provides proactive and practical support.

She is also:

· an accredited advocacy and ethics trainer for Gray’s Inn

· a member of the Government Legal Department B panel

· and is currently a member of the Institute of Directors’ Commission to establish a Code of Conduct for Directors.
