Gian Paolo Tagariello is senior and founding partner of Legance. He assists private and listed companies as well as private equity firms in M&A, joint ventures and other corporate transactions and reorganizations. He is particularly specialized in banking and financial and insurance industries, where he ensures a global approach dealing also with regulatory issues on a day-to-day basis. He has acted also as arbitrator for commercial litigation and corporate secretary of the boards of industrial and family groups. He is co-head of the financial institution group and head of insurance department.
Career
Senior Partner in Legance since 2007.
From 1992 to 2007 in Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners, Partner since 2001. He had relevant management positions, heading significant practice groups.
In 1996, visiting foreign lawyer at Paul Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, in New York.
He has lectured on Private International Law subjects at the “LUISS - Guido Carli”, Rome, for seven years from 1993 to the year 2000.
