Practice Areas
Giorgio Manca co-heads the Employment department of DWF Italy.
He has gained significant experience in negotiating trade union agreements within complex corporate restructuring processes. In recent years, he has assisted leading Italian and international companies in the management of trade union information and consultation procedures in the context of collective redundancies and business transfers.
Giorgio has extensive experience in labour law litigation, including commercial agency contracts.
Career
Giorgio graduated with honours in labour law at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome and furthered his studies in labour law at the Scuola di Alta Formazione dell'Associazione Giuslavoristi Italiani.
He is a permanent lecturer at the Business School of Il Sole 24 Ore, where he teaches labour law and trade union relations in the HR Master's Course, in the Labour Law Master's Course and in the Executive Strategic HR Management Master's Course.
Giorgio has been Assistant Professor of Labour Law at the University of Insubria (Como and Varese) and Adjunct Professor at the School of Specialisation of the same University.
Prior to joining DWF LLP, he worked for several years with Norton Rose Fulbright and Toffoletto De Luca Tamajo.
