Giuseppe Coco has 20 years of experience in corporate acquisitions, venture capital, corporate governance and international commercial contracts.

Over the years, he has assisted dozens of foreign buyers in managing M&A transactions and structuring complex strategic joint ventures, mainly in the manufacturing, technology, automotive, fashion and energy sectors.

Coco assists numerous foreign multinationals in the management of their Italian subsidiaries, serving as a single point of contact for all legal needs.

He has also developed specific experience in assisting entrepreneurs and closely held and family-controlled companies, for whom he acts as trusted advisor for ordinary activities, extraordinary transactions and in their expansion abroad.

Coco also assists founders and venture capital funds in all stages of start-ups, from structuring shareholder agreements to exit.

Career

After graduating cum laude in 2001 from LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, Giuseppe Coco earned a Ph.D. from the University of Palermo. For more than 15 years he has collaborated with the chair of private law at LUISS Guido Carli, where he has a teaching contract.

Professional Memberships

Giuseppe Coco was admitted to the Bar in 2004.

He is an active member of the International Bar Association and serves as Secretary of the Closely Held Companies Committee.
