Greg primarily devotes his time to litigating claims arising from design and construction projects and has tried over 75 disputes through either court or arbitration. Typical matters involve complaints of delay and disruption, allegations of design or construction errors, and suits involving mechanic’s liens. He brings the skills and knowledge gained in the adversarial arena to the negotiation and drafting of design and construction contracts and related documents, knowing first-hand how to mitigate risks through preparing proper project documentation.
Greg is adept at navigating the complex world of bond claims and mechanic’s liens, having authored a chapter on Texas mechanic’s lien laws at www.lienlawonline.com. Further, he spearheaded the overhaul of the Texas mechanic’s lien statute in 2021, as lead drafter of changes to Chapter 53 of the Texas Property Code.
