As one of the country’s foremost health care litigators, Greg Pimstone leads Manatt’s Health Care Litigation practice. He is frequently recognized as a top health care attorney in the state of California, heading numerous high-profile cases that continue to transform the legal landscape and produce landmark decisions in the field of health care. Greg is both a trial and an appellate lawyer, representing California’s largest health care entities in their most significant matters. Greg’s cases have resulted in published decisions more than any other health care litigator, with approximately 20 publications in the past decade. His groundbreaking work advances the law in the field, with a generation of lawyers now citing precedents Greg produced in the health care arena.

In addition to his trial work, Greg has taught health law at the University of California at Berkeley School of Law and authored chapters of The Rutter Group’s California Practice Guide: Insurance Litigation and BNA’s Managed Care Litigation.
