Hagai, chair of the firm’s Antitrust & Competition Law Practice Group, is widely regarded as one of Israel’s top antitrust attorneys.

Hagai handles and advises on merger control, collaborative JVs, distribution strategies and all other types of commercial conduct. Hagai has unique expertise in handling Israeli aspects of complex global merges, and he frequently coordinates with foreign counsels on global antitrust, competition and merger matters.

Hagai's extensive experience also includes advising on administrative and criminal investigations by the Israel Competition Authority, dealing with issues such as abuse of monopoly power, oligopolies, cartels, and restrictive trade practices, and proceedings before the Competition Tribunal.

Hagai also handles and leads the defense of many prominent foreign companies in multiple class actions involving breaches of Israeli antitrust law. Notably, he represents clients in damages and class action claims seeking compensation after competition law violations in the U.S., EU, or Israel.
