She has particular expertise in claims for psychiatric injury consequent upon sexual harassment/assault. Recent cases: (1) acting for Defendant investment company in respect of a multi-million pound High Court claim for damages for psychiatric injury arising out of alleged bullying and harassment in the course of employment (2) acting for Defendant hospital trust in relation to its alleged vicarious liability for a serious sexual assault of one of its employees by a colleague (3) acting for Respondent EL insurer in appeal against a tribunal’s judgment dismissing a high value claim for disability discrimination brought against it, exceptionally, under the Third Parties (Rights Against Insurers) Act 2010 (3) acting for Claimant banker in Tribunal claim for unfair dismissal and disability discrimination following summary dismissal and related high court claim for damages for personal injury and breach of contract.
