Hissan Anis is a principal at Avek IP, LLC. He provides strategic patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret counseling to a wide range of public and private companies. This includes not only obtaining patents in the electrical, mechanical, and software arts, but also counseling clients on intellectual property litigation matters and counseling clients on avoiding litigation. He has substantial experience with AIA post grant proceedings, and he has represented clients in dozens of inter partes review cases. Before law school, Mr. Anis worked in the transmission and distribution group of a national engineering consulting firm and as a programmer for a microelectronic solutions company.
