Howard has been representing developers, sponsors, and investors in their most complex real estate transactions for more than 40 years. He has notably broad experience, with primary responsibility for transactions involving ground-up single use and mixed use developments, the acquisition and disposition of single asset and portfolios of existing properties, and debt and equity financing throughout the capital stack. He devotes significant time to structuring sophisticated joint venture arrangements, guiding the development and financing of urban mixed-use projects, and advising clients on restructurings, in each case for hotel, office, multifamily, and industrial properties.
