Irina Neves Ferreira

Career

Irina Neves Ferreira is a dual qualified lawyer in Angola and Portugal. She is a Partner of ALC since 2016. Irina is also a partner with the network founding member firm Morais Leitão since 2021. She is a lawyer with considerable international experience, especially in the Angolan jurisdiction with which she has been working for the past 18 years. In this market her primary focus is on infrastructure projects and financings having worked in deals in the energy, transport and mining sectors. Irina has advised both private sponsors and development finance institutions. In general, she provides regular assistance to international companies looking to invest in Angola, advising companies and its shareholders and offering strategic advice on the best options to structure their investments in Angola. Irina assists clients working in the oil&gas, energy and mining sectors assisting with both day-to-day operations and regulatory matters.

The 2024 edition of the reputed IFLR1000 directory distinguished Irina a highly regarded lawyer in the Angolan jurisdiction.
