He primarily focuses on regulatory compliance, corporate and government investigations, dispute resolution and litigation, healthcare and life sciences, etc.

Mr. Li is an expert member of the National Corporation Compliance Committee of CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade), the Compliance Management Committee of CPIA (China Pharmaceutical Industry Association), and the Shanghai Elite Legal Professional Experts Pool. He also serves as the Deputy Chief of the Corporate Compliance Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association, and acts as an visiting mentor, lecturing legal and compliance-related courses to postgraduate students at Fudan University and other top universities.

With a background in law enforcement and over 15 years of legal expertise, Mr. Li has amassed extensive experience in legal fields such as anti-corruption (including US FCPA), antitrust, anti-money laundering, white-collar crime, corporate crimes, data protection and cyber security, and smuggling, etc. He is adept at handling government enforcement actions and corporate investigations, offering comprehensive and specialized legal and compliance services to multinational companies, state-owned enterprises, and large private companies. Mr. Li has also represented clients in cross-jurisdictional regulatory engagements and has contributed to legislation and industry standard development.

Mr. Li is widely recognized in global legal rankings and has received numerous awards. He has been consistently ranked as a leading lawyer in “Regulatory Compliance” and “Corporate Investigations/Anti-Corruption” by renowned legal ranking institutions such as Chambers and Partners and Legal 500. Prior to joining Global Law Office, Jacky Li worked at the legal affairs department of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau, where he obtained extensive judicial experience and practical first-hand knowledge of criminal investigations and administrative enforcement as well as formulation of regulations and policies. Jacky Li also worked at a renowned US law firm in cross-border compliance practice.
