Practise focuses on commercial restructuring, insolvency, and related litigation. Extensive experience representing numerous stakeholders in formal and informal corporate reorganizations, enforcement of security, and unsecured creditor remedies. Deputy Chair of the firm’s Financial Services Group. Chair of the firm’s national Restructuring and Insolvency Practice Group. Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Toronto (Bankruptcy Law, 2012-2016). Frequent speaker and author. Member of the Insolvency Institute of Canada and the International Insolvency Institute (III). Fellow and member of the board of directors of INSOL International, a global federation of national associations for lawyers and accountants who specialize in turnaround and insolvency. Member of Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC).
