Advocate prof. dr hab. Jarosław Majewski has chaired legal departments of Polish major financial institutions in the past. This experience enables him to find the optimum solutions for clients, not only from the point of view of the nature of a legal problem, but also the internal regulations in force in the organization. He is a renowned authority, in particular in the sphere of banking and criminal law. He is the author, co-author or editor of almost 170 publications in various areas of law. He has written treatises, commentaries, articles and glosses published in Polish and international scientific magazines, including well-received commentaries on the Criminal Code and on the Criminal Justice System, as well as treatises on the protection of creditors, the protection of trading in securities, banking secrecy and confidential information. He is the author of numerous legal opinions, including many written at the request of the Sejm – the Polish Parliament. He is an arbitrator at the Arbitration Court at the Polish Bank Association, and an arbitrator at the Arbitration Tribunal for Sport at the Polish Olympic Committee. He was a former member of the Codification Committee of the Criminal Code at the Ministry of Justice (2012-2016).
