Jason Samuels concentrates his practice in construction law with a focus on both transactional matters as well as dispute resolution. He represents contractors, owners and developers in all aspects of public and private construction and development, including negotiation of large-scale new construction and renovation project agreements. While focusing on construction, Jason actively works with and serves as the point of contact and as a team member with private equity firms and owners/developers on traditional and industrial real estate transactions.
In addition to transactional construction and development related work, Jason has successfully prosecuted and defended numerous claims on behalf of clients in various federal and state courts, as well as in alternative dispute resolution venues. Jason has been involved in negotiating EPC, EPCM and traditional construction and/or development agreements on behalf of industrial clients in the biopharmaceutical, manufacturing and energy industries. Jason has taught continuing legal education courses and has spoken on numerous occasions before various bar and trade associations on issues related to construction law.
In addition, and most recently, Jason has been a leader in advising clients with respect to M/WBE, DBE and other compliance issues on public and P3 projects.
