Career

Jeff Krieger’s practice is broad and encompasses both creditors and debtors, as well as various types of clients whose business dealings are potentially affected by financial distress, whether involving a vendor, a customer, business partner or other stakeholders. By combining strategic, high-level counsel with deep expertise in the procedural and substantive elements of bankruptcy law, Jeff assists his clients in managing the risks presented by bankruptcy proceedings and maximizing the opportunities.

On the commercial law side, Jeff represents lenders, borrowers and guarantors in connection with commercial loans, both secured and unsecured. Although he has counseled clients in a range of industries, real estate, apparel and entertainment (particularly real estate developers, fashion brands, and television companies) are some of Jeff’s primary industry verticals.

Jeff is a frequent writer, including as a contributor to a published book, Reviving the Financially Distressed Business, the essential guide for business owners and corporate leaders whose companies are under—or anticipating—financial difficulties. He also is a contributor to the firm’s bankruptcy and insolvency blog, Overhead in Bankruptcy.
