Jennifer L. Conn is Chair of the Securities Litigation practice at Paul Hastings, based in the firm’s New York office. Ms. Conn is a commercial litigator with extensive experience in a wide range of complex commercial litigation and regulatory matters, focusing on those matters involving securities, financial services, and accounting. She is a seasoned securities litigator with a very successful track record of representing Fortune 500 companies, global financial institutions, and directors and officers in high-stakes bet-the-company litigation and corporate crises.
In addition to her robust private practice, Ms. Conn is a Lecturer in Law at Columbia Law School, lecturing on securities litigation. She is a thought leader on securities litigation issues and regularly writes and speaks on the subject. For the past six years, Ms. Conn also was the co-editor and a co-author of the Practicing Law Institute Treatise, Securities Litigation: A Practitioner’s Guide.
Ms. Conn received her Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. She graduated, cum laude with distinction in all subjects, from Cornell University, College of Arts and Sciences, with a Bachelor of Arts in Government. Ms. Conn also was a law clerk for the Honorable Lawrence M. McKenna, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York.
