Steve Marenberg, Chair of Paul Hastings' Entertainment and Media Litigation Group and Chair of the Century City Litigation Group, handles a broad range of commercial litigation matters, with a particular focus on media and entertainment-related litigation, intellectual property litigation and antitrust and business tort disputes.
Mr. Marenberg’s clients include some of the nation's leading motion picture studios, television networks, independent production companies, music companies, interactive game companies and entertainers as well as prominent high technology firms. Named to The Hollywood Reporter's “Power Lawyers” and Variety “Impact” lists every year since its inception, Mr. Marenberg has also been recognized as one of the country's foremost litigators by publications including Lawdragon, Benchmark Litigation, The Legal 500, The Los Angeles Business Journal, among others.
Mr. Marenberg continues to score high-profile litigation victories for some of the biggest name clients in the world. For instance, in 2023 he successfully defended ABC, Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and The Walt Disney Company in a series of nationwide lawsuits raising constitutional challenges to Disney’s COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate.
Mr. Marenberg earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and his B.A. from Wesleyan University.
