Jenny has been with Elmzell since 2002 and as head of the law firm since 2018. Founded in 1988, Elmzell has over the years maintained its position as the leading boutique firm for employment/HR law in Sweden.

Jenny assists in all types of employment/HR law matters, often with an international focus as a large part of her clients are foreign companies with a business in Sweden. Over the years she has gained experience in meeting foreign clients challenges in Sweden and translating them into practical advice with their specific needs from an international context in mind.

The matters relate to terms and conditions of employment, trade union consultations, reorganizations, dismissals, drafting and implementation of policies, discrimination issues, etc. She often works closely with HR departments in their daily work with employment and termination agreements, consultations, internal investigation as well as representing companies in courts etc. Jenny very much enjoys giving trainings in HR law and she often tailors in-house training such as “crash course in Swedish employment law” for HR and managers.

Elmzell is member of Ius Laboris – an international alliance of leading law firms focused on international HR law where the law firms work closely together to help clients with international matters. This may involve advising on a particular matter in a country or coordinating HR law issues in most countries, for example in major reorganisations or the implementation of global policies. Jenny is Elmzell’s key contact for Ius Laboris and she has worked closely with – and has known personally – many of her Ius Laboris colleagues for + 20 years which is a huge benefit for clients with international business.
