Jim has over 29 years’ experience as a specialist criminal litigator and regulatory enforcement lawyer; he is widely regarded as one of the UK's best criminal lawyers and consistently ranks as a top criminal solicitor in the leading industry directories. Jim has acted in some of the UK’s most high-profile criminal cases, including notorious murders, terrorism, international conspiracies and sex cases, but his practice is now focused on business crime, particularly investigations involving the Environment Agency; the Health and Safety Executive; the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency; and the consumer protection and environmental health protection departments of local authorities.
