John O'Loughlin is a partner in Weil’s Corporate Department. John’s practice encompasses a wide range of administrative and regulatory compliance matters, with a particular focus on product stewardship and compliance with health and safety regulations. He advises clients in matters under the jurisdiction of the Environmental Protection Agency, the Food and Drug Administration, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. He also counsels clients on compliance matters involving sensitive products and services in cross-border transactions. He has worked on numerous mergers, acquisitions and other transactions over the past two and a half decades, advising financial institutions, strategic buyers and sellers, private equity funds, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds and other investors. He has experience working with both lenders and borrowers on debt financings, underwriters and issuers on equity offerings, and investors and managers in the fund formation context.
