John Schneider co-leads Hunton Andrews Kurth's Lending Services Group and co-chairs the firm's Financial Institutions Steering Committee. Mr. Schneider’s decades’ long experience representing banks, financial institutions, alternative investment funds and collateral managers, in acquisition financings, mezzanine finance, asset-based lending and emerging private credit structures equips him to provide trusted counsel through a wide spectrum of financing transactions, work-outs, restructurings and bankruptcies.

Mr. Schneider also leads the firm’s direct lending and specialty lending practice, where he advises middle market loan originators and specialty lender clients in their roles as agents and participants in direct lending transactions across a myriad of industries. He also serves as trusted counsel in the recently evolving lender finance space, developing and documenting highly bespoke warehouse and SPV structures more akin to private securitization transactions.
