Practice Areas

Jolling de Pree specialises in European and Dutch competition law. His vast boardroom experience in advising CEO's and CFO's on sensitive and high profile competition issues enhances his current practice. He advises on complex strategy and timing issues regarding M&A-deals as part of his merger control practice. Jolling's role as trusted advisor in competition law investigations materially enhances the representation of companies in international cartel investigations and cartel damages litigation.

Jolling regularly advises major international companies on their issues related to the Netherlands and international competition. Jolling has vast experience in conducting internal investigations, coordinating the defence in international cartel cases, and in handling multi-jurisdictional filings.

Partner since 2001.

Professional Memberships

He was chairman of the Dutch Competition Law Association from 2013 until 2018 and has been appointed as Non Governmental Advisor to the International Competition Network. He is also member of the Dutch Bar Association’s Advisory Committee on Competition Law.

Publications

Jolling lectures on EU and Dutch competition law at the Dutch Company Lawyers Association and is editor-in-chief of the treatise on competition law, 'Tekst en Commentaar Mededingingswet'.
