Jon Talotta is global co-leader for the firm's Corporate and Securities Litigation group, ranked Band One for Litigation by Chambers, and the leader of the Chambers Band One-ranked Northern Virginia office Litigation, Arbitration, and Employment group.
Jon has over two decades of experience in M&A, shareholder, corporate governance, and securities disputes, as well as technology, consumer protection, Internet, privacy, cybersecurity, and other business disputes. He has represented U.S. and multinational clients from a variety of industries in trial and appellate courts across the United States, in arbitrations and mediations, and in administrative proceedings and investigations before numerous federal and state agencies.
Jon is a member of the Boards of Teach For America-DC, Gideon's Promise, and the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. He is a former member of the Board of the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project, and a devoted pro bono litigator, working on actual innocence and civil justice impact cases. His successes include obtaining exonerations for two individuals who spent a combined 30 years in prison for crimes they did not commit.
