Jonathan has a leading commercial and public law practice, with particular experience in insurance, professional liability, financial services / consumer finance and administrative law (including inquiries). Insurance work includes major coverage disputes and litigation / arbitration between insurers, brokers and coverholders. His professional liability practice includes lawyers, financial professionals, insurance brokers and valuers. His public law practice covers central and local government, financial regulation, utilities regulation and professional discipline. Recent inquiry work includes IICSA, Horizon IT and the RHI Inquiry, and inquest work includes acting as lead counsel to the inquests into the terrorist attacks at Westminster Bridge, London Bridge, Fishmonger’s Hall and Streatham Hill, as well as the Hillsborough inquests.
