Represents U.S. and foreign airlines as well as trade associations before federal aviation regulatory agencies, including the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Acts for respondents in governmental investigations and enforcement and civil penalty proceedings involving alleged violations of: DOT’s licensing, aviation consumer protection, disability accommodation and civil rights requirements; Federal Aviation Regulations; Civil Aviation Security Regulations; Hazardous Materials Regulations; and Air Commerce Regulations. Advises airlines on: supplier contracts and airport leasing agreements; permits and other operating authorities; inter-carrier cooperative agreements, alliances and joint ventures; federal competition policy; international traffic rights under bilateral and multilateral air transport agreements; and airport slot matters. Counsels other travel industry clients on state licensing and agency accreditation matters. Advises corporate aircraft operators on ownership and operating structures
