Jordana is a top-notch advocate, recognized on a national and global level for her deep expertise in all areas of intellectual property law, particularly in patent and trademark disputes. She is well known as a trusted advisor to her clients, providing practical and strategic advice to obtain successful results in and out of the courtroom. She regularly acts in proceedings under the PM(NOC) Regulations, patent impeachment and infringement actions, judicial review proceedings, and damages actions. She also regularly works with clients concerning the protection and optimization of their intellectual property portfolios and enforcement of their intellectual property rights. Jordana has appeared as counsel in matters before the Federal Court of Appeal, Federal Court, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and specialized tribunals. She is also a registered patent and trademark agent. Jordana is a leader in the legal community and IP bar. She is an active member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada; she is a member of its Board of Directors, and is past Chair of its Annual Conference Committee. Jordana is the Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s Federal Courts Bench & Bar Liaison Committee, and involved in the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, The Toronto Intellectual Property Group, and ChIPs.
